There are few substances in medicine or aesthetics that have had as much publicity around them as Botulinum toxin. Manufactured under the trademarks Botox® or Vistabel® by a company called Allergan or Dysport® by a company called Ipsen in the UK, Botulinum toxin has a variety of medical and cosmetic or aesthetic uses.
The purpose of this website is:
- to explain what Botulinum toxin is
- give an indication of how it is manufactured
